My name is Mrs. Placek and I am one of the fourth grade teachers at Erin Elementary School! My husband and two children moved to Richfield in the Fall of 2021 and are so excited to be a part of the community in this area. I attended UW Oshkosh and graduated with a dual major in Elementary and Special Education. After graduating, I taught elementary special education for one year and then moved to fourth grade within the same building. I have been teaching fourth grade since 2016 and absolutely love this grade and age!
A little bit about me… I grew up in New Holstein and enjoyed playing soccer. In High School I became a certified swimming lessons instructor and that’s where my love of teaching and working with kids began. I love reading books on my Kindle and being outdoors with my family. We especially like to visit parks in the area. I have a love for iced coffee and sweets. 🙂
One of the many things I like about being a teacher is that every single day is different and exciting. I love encouraging students to be their best selves and to find that “ah ha!” moment. I am so excited to share my knowledge and experience in teaching fourth grade with the Erin School!
