Mr. Mueller 
Who is Mr. Mueller?
Mr. Mueller has been teaching at Erin School since 1992. He teaches kindergarten through eighth grade physical education. Mr. Mueller received his Bachelor’s Degree in physical education and a licensure in health education from the University of Wisconsin — Whitewater. In the summer of 2005, he completed his Master’s Degree in general education from Viterbo University. His current license includes certification in K-12 physical education, health and coaching. In 2011, Mr. Mueller was a recipient of the Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship Award. This award recognized his enthusiasm and passion for fitness and especially for his students. He is also a Fuel Up to Play 60 MVP and State Ambassador.
Mr. Mueller was named the 2016 Wisconsin Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year and the 2017 SHAPE America Midwest District Middle School Teacher of the Year. These awards recognized his leadership in physical education at Erin School, as well as in the community, state, and the nation. Mr. Mueller also is an adjunct professor at Concordia University, teaching the Curriculum & Methods of Teaching Elementary and Secondary Physical Education classes.
Mr. Mueller is married and has two children; a son in college and a daughter who teaches first grade in the La Crosse area. Outside of school Mr. Mueller enjoys lifting weights and doing a variety of cardio workouts. He is very involved in his church and teaches a third through eighth grade Sunday school class. He spends most of his summer running Path to Victory Sports and Leadership Camps in the area and around the country.

Physical Education at Erin School is an exciting, active, and fun class. From kindergarten through eighth grade the students will experience a variety of physical activities to help develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become active and healthy adults.
