MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER

The Erin School District is seeking an enthusiastic Middle School Science Teacher to become part of our high-performing school community.

An ideal candidate would possess the following skills and abilities:

  • A desire to teach and enjoy middle-level learners
  • A passion for teaching science; a science background or middle school science teaching experience is preferred
  • Ability to form positive relationships with students, as this educator has the privilege to teach students for three years
  • Knowledge of the content standards -NGSS
  • A strong instructional skill set, along with effective classroom management to support and supervise students in grades 6-8
  • A genuine responsiveness to student learning and a willingness to contribute to the overall educational environment of our school
  • Experience in differentiated instruction and formative assessments
  • Effective communication and collaborative skills with colleagues, parents, and administration
  • A dedicated work ethic and willingness to get involved
  • Effective written, verbal, and technology-based communication skills

Erin School is a small K-8 school with 410 students. Each grade level has two sections. We are a fully inclusive school with high support for students and teachers. We have onsite childcare for our staff members. We are proud of our team approach and positive climate.

Qualifications: We will accept an Elementary/Middle Level or Broadfield Science License.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS 

Looking for a job where you can pick the days you work?  Do you like working with kids? 

Have you ever thought about being a substitute teacher?  A Three-Year Short-Term Substitute license may be issued to an applicant who holds a degree from an accredited college or university and who has successfully completed an approved substitute training program, but has not completed a state-approved educator preparation program.  Once an educator holds a current Three-Year Short-Term Substitute license, they may short-term substitute at any Wisconsin school district that wishes to hire them. Erin School is looking to add to our sub list.
