Mrs. Cady

Hello !  My name is Nicole Cady and I am a speech/language pathologist at Erin School.  I work with 3 year olds – 8th graders with a variety of different needs.  The students I work with may need support with the following: receptive language, expressive language, articulation, fluency, phonology, autism spectrum disorders, etc.  I enjoy the variety of students that I am able to interact with daily.  Each student I work with has an individualized education plan that outlines their goals. I also do evaluations to determine if a child would qualify for speech and language services. After I finished graduate school I worked in a nursing home, a clinic, and for the Waukesha School District.  I was involved with the hearing impaired students and took many classes to learn sign language. I came to Erin in 2013 and love the collaborative nature and warmth of this school.  I am fortunate to be part of the classroom environment and collaborate with the teachers so that we are able to best meet the students needs.  Teamwork and communication are essential to the student’s success!
I am married and have 2 daughters.  They keep me very busy with all of their extra-curricular activities.  I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with my family.  I also enjoy taking courses or attending workshops to expand my areas of expertise.
I look forward to watching the kids learn and grow!  Please feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions or concerns.

Mrs. Heus

Hello!  My name is Lindsay Heus and I am a speech language pathologist at Erin School. This year will be full of excitement, fun, and lots of learning!

I am a certified member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).  I received my Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2002 and my Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2004.  I have practiced speech therapy in a number of settings including: public and charter schools, private clinics, and sub-acute rehabilitation settings.  I have worked with toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, and adults. I evaluate, diagnosis and treat a variety of communication disorders that include: receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, fluency, voice, social skills, and other developmental delays. I work closely with individuals and their families to facilitate effective communication skill development and implementation.

My husband, Chris, and I have two wonderful children (Gracyn and William) and Mina (a Weisla pup).  As a family, we enjoy traveling, playing sports, cooking, board games, and spending time with extended family.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to a great school year together!
