Welcome to Room 123! I am so excited about this school year! Third grade will be a fun, but challenging year. I am really looking forward to being a part of the third-grade journey teaching and learning with your child!
I have been at Erin School since my student teaching days in the winter of 2013 when I taught third grade. The 2013-2014 school year I was the long term sub for third grade, and then transitioned to first grade in the afternoon and 1st-5th math support in the mornings. Starting the 2014 school year to the present, I am so excited to continue my journey as a third-grade teacher! I grew up in Slinger, so I am very familiar with the area. I went to Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon. From Concordia, I have a license in Elementary Education for grades 1-8 and a Math license as well. I became a certified Math Interventionist and received my Masters of Science in Education for Math Intervention from UW Oshkosh in 2019.
My husband Tanner, our two sons, and I live in Richfield, Wisconsin. When I am not at school I am relaxing with my family and playing volleyball. I enjoy being outdoors and going to sporting events. I am a big Brewers, Packers, and Admirals fan!
It is so important that we stay connected between home and school in order for your child to have a successful year in third grade. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, comments, concerns, or celebrations regarding your child’s education.
