My name is Jessie Risse and I am in my third year of teaching at Erin School. In May of 2010 I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary/Middle Education and a Math minor.  I was born and raised in Slinger, Wisconsin.  As a 2006 graduate of Slinger High School, I participated in cross-country, basketball, and fastpitch all four years.  I continued my active participation in and enjoyment for a wide variety of sports by playing college intramural basketball, volleyball, and softball.  Exercise and playing sports will continue to be two of my favorite free time activities. Growing up in a family of teachers, I have always known that teaching was the profession for me. Instilled with strong educational values, I look forward to sharing my passion for lifelong learning. I am very much a people-person, someone who enjoys socializing, communicating and interacting with a wide variety of people.  I am excited about being a part of the Erin School Community. My students’ education is my number one priority.  Working cooperatively with the students, staff, and parents, I will do my best to make this a positive and productive learning experience for all students. I look forward to another great year!!!
