Mr. Hanlon
I attended La Trobe University in Melbourne where I received a Bachelor of Legal Studies degree, and a postgraduate Diploma in Education (elementary). I worked in several schools throughout Melbourne before leaving for the first of two stints teaching in London. I returned to Melbourne and worked for five years at an amazing school called Greenhills before leaving for the London borough of Newham. In 2004 I immigrated to the United States, got married, and have since had two beautiful children.
I graduated from Cardinal Stritch in 2009 with a Master of Science (educational leadership), and the 2010/2011 school year will be my seventh teaching 3rd grade at Erin School. I love working with students at this age level; to see the progress and growth both academically and personally is an amazing gift that I receive each year.
I hope that by bringing the experience of having taught on three continents to each class I teach I am able to assist each student in reaching their personal goals as well as enabling them to move onwards and upwards with an increased self-confidence.
One day I would like to assume a principal’s position at an elementary school and pursue my doctorate.
