I have been working at Erin School since 1997. I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Marquette University.  I chose to go in to the field of Speech Language Pathology because it allowed me to combine my interests in the educational and medical fields with children.  I earned my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.  I have a license from the Department of Public Instruction, as well as from the Department of Regulation and Licensing.  Before working at Erin School, I worked at a rehabilitation agency in pediatrics, primarily with children with medical diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, autism, and traumatic brain injury.

Currently, I work with children from the age of three through eighth grade with speech and/or language delays.  Some of my job responsibilities include screening children with suspected delays and screening incoming 4K/5K students.   I also perform hearing screenings if there is a concern expressed by parents or teachers.  I enjoy working with the classroom teachers to maximize carryover of the skills my students are working on and collaborating on language activities.  I have been involved in the response to intervention program, working with specific students on identified areas.  I have designed home programs for students who may not need specialized intervention, but could still benefit from extra skill practice in the naturalistic home environment.  I urge parents to stop in or call at any time with questions or concerns about speech and language development.

Welcome to the new Erin School Web Site. The site is currently under construction and will change over the next couple weeks.
